Human Culture Influenced By A Parasite?

The single celled brain parasite Toxoplasma gondii, spread by cats, seems to play a global role in human behavior. Have a read here:

So it has statistical relevance in terms of how men and women act, on a global cultural scale. Is it the macho parasite? Very interesting if the causality turns out to be true! And it turns out that I never liked cats for a reason!
